wditorial in issue of 5-30-1787, Elliott was 27, The
editorial states that he was one of three brothers, all
of whom were hanged. The eldest brotner had been exe-
cuted in Ireland for robbery whereupon his fatker took
him and his surviving brother, Fleming Hlliott, to
America for a new start in life. Hditorial states

that Fleming Elliot was shortly afterwards executed

at Chester, PA for murder,
