"Nashville, Tenney Septe 3, 1920. = At sunrise this
motning Lorenzo Young went to the electric chair at the
state penitentiary and paid the penalty in full for
killing a Memphis policeman, The negro had a hearty
breakfast and went to the chair with a firm step and
died with a smile on his face,. Although Governor Robert
granted the condemned man a respite, executive clemency
