According to Greeley Colorado TRIBUNE of 12-12-1931, Ar-=
nold had lived in Greeley at one time and had participated
in murder of aged couple near Denver in robbery of $300
in pension money, "Denver, 2-11-190l-Judge Palmer has
sentenced Frederick Arnold, Newton Am rews and Charles
peters, the young men who killed Mrs. Amanda Youngblood
last New Year's eve, to be hanged in the week beginning
May 15. An appeal will be taken to the supreme court to
test the constitutionality of the hanging law," TELEGRAM,
