While I found no record of commutation, JOURNAL of Jan.
Lh, 191h, states he was to be hanged on 1716/1911, and

¢#hat Prison Board had unanimously recommended commutat-
tion on grounds of insanity and that a number of prominent
citizens of county had appeared requesting. Further that

there was no opposition to execution, so he was probably
commuted.
