According to Mr. and Mrs, Kelly Morgan, HISTORY OF CLAY
COUNTY, KENTUCKY, 1767-1976 (Morgan Book Co., Manchester,
Ky., 1978, pp 327-330, a man named Baker was hanged in
Clay County in the 1880's for murdering his son, James.
T his is not the case of Dr. Abner Baker or or William
Baker, both already confirmed. See the above source in
