SCHROEDER, Irene "The Trigger Woman"

Mrs. Schroeder, her lover, Glenn Dague, and her brother,
Tom Crawford, comprised a hold-up and robbery team that
terrorized Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia in 1929,
On Dece 27, 1929, while fleeing from a robbery, Irene
shot and killed Corp. Brady Paul of the Pennsy.vania
Highway Patrol who had stopped their cary Crawford
left her and Dague and went on hks own and they picked
up a recently released convict, Tom "Red" Wells in New
Mexico. In a shoot-out with Arizona lawmen, Wells shot
and killed Deputy Lee Wright in Chandler, Ariz., on
Jane 13, 1930. He was hanged in Arizona and Mrs. Schroe~
der and Dague were returned to Pennsylvania where both

were electrocuted at Rockview Prison on Feb, 2B iy LI Big
