MOSES, a slave,
Hanover County, Va., Sept, 23, 1807. - Moses,
man slave of Parke Street convicted of robbery.
On night of 9-3-1807, in Parish of St. Paul,
had made an assault on John Tomlinson and Hamil-
ton Tomlinson, near the Commonwealth's highway,
stealing "a knife, the value of 10 pence, One
RMARKE dollar; one quarter of a dollar, and one
nine penny piece, of the current money of Virgin

at $435.35. A. Street, Deputy Sheriff attests
to the hanging on Nov. 2, 1807.
