Details: White man condemned by the General

Court of the Eastern Shore for the
8-16-84 murder of another white man named Thomas
Groves by bashing his brains out with a crowbar.
After he was hanged his body was exposed in irons
at Kent Point on Kent Island. This appears to be
the last instance of gibbeting in Maryland.
