GREEN, Thomas

Green, 23-years-old, and his 2h-year-old buddy, Paul Case, were cow-
boys who traveled to 41 Centro, Calif., to secure emplbyment as
bronco riders in a rodeo. When they were unabke to obtain jobs, they
gach stole a horse and rode over the desert to Blythe, calif, WRSKS
on Dec. 1, 1913, where they spent the night in a pile of straw. The
next afternoon, they entered the Palo Verde Valle? Bank and robbed it
of over $5,000.00. When Gase started to leave. the bank with the gold .
in a cloth bag, the )0-year-old cashier, Willis A. Bowles, attempted
