"June 15, 1750-On Tuesday last at the Court of
Oyer & Terminer held in williemsoure, William
jimmons, Nicholas Meads, and George Afflax were
tried for the murder of their master, Col. Pres
sy. The two former were acquitted and the late
ter being found guilty, received sentence of
death. We are also informed from Northum@erland
County that a negro boy who was aiding and abet-
ting in the murder of Col. Pressy has been sen
tenced to be hanged, drawn and quartered,"
