MULLINAX, Robert

3u-year-old white man, electrocuted, Ga, State Prison,
6-1)-1935 (Floyd Co,) Appealed to Ga. Supreme Court
(179 Southeastern 351), Mullinax was the stepfather of
Navin Hancock, deceased. On May 27, 193), they were at a
neighbor's house, Mullinax was drinking, and had some
words with Hancock, The evidence shows that Mullinax
followed Hancock to church that night, and that he tried
to borrow a gun. Hancock went home and spent the night,
and went to work next morning in Mr, Baker's field, On
this Monday morning Hanceck was 2 to 360 yards from the
house where Baker lived, About & o'clock am, Robert
Mullinax was seen runnigg with his shotgun; he told this

witness he was going to shoot some crows., He walked, arounc
a little knoll and approached the field where iancock was

plowing. Baker and one of his sons were about 100 yards
away and leoked in time to see Hancock throw up his arms.
