(Fulton County) on Sept. 11, 1931. Affirmed: 157 SE 63;
Habe Corpe 158 SE 751, "Gov. Russell Thursday refused to
grant a respite to Willie Higgins, an Atlanta negro, sen=
tenced to be electrocuted at the State Prison Farm in
Baldwin County, Higgins was convicted of the slaying of
Robert Peiden, another negro, while both were prisoners
