Almodovar, a 21-year-old native eh ees Rico, was a New York City

parents. The next morning her body was found in Sentral Park where
she had been strangled to death, Terry Almodovar claimed that he

had been dancing on the night of the murder and a number of persons
claimed to have seen him on the floor repeatedly at one of the dance
halls. However, he was held as a material witness while the Lnvesti=

gation proceeded. Investigators turned the clothes that .he,had been
