BARCLAY, William Lovell

Barclay, 2 37-year-old black man, had served 18 years in Folsom and
San Quentin Prisons, including a term from Butte Co., Calif., in
193 for manslaughter after he had killed another prisoner with a
peik handle. Other convictions were for robbery, assault with ine
tent to commit murder and burglary. He was finally released on pa-
role on July 2h, 1950. He, obtained the cafe concession at the Hill
Top Cafe on Highway 0 in Crockett which was owned by 6l-year-old
