2l-year-old white man, electrocuted Sing Sing Prison
(Erie County) on 2-2-1922, Accomplice Raymdnd F, Mulford
was previously put to death, On Thanksgiving Day, Nov. |
25, 1920, they and one Webber, all armed, entered used
clothing store of Abraham Yellin at 192 Seneca St.,
Buffalo, to steal overcoats, While Slover was trying on
coat, Yellin wrestled for gun and was shot by Slover 3
times. Slover maintained killing accidental while adgy
mitting firing shots, Execution delayed when Governor
appointed sanity commission which ruled Slover sane at

time of crime and sane then, Convicted in January, 1921.
Was praying when he entered chamber, pausing long enough

to say: "Goodbye, boys." Appealed 133 NORTHEASTERN 633
