Goodwin, alias James H, Steel, a 25=year=old white man, was a soldier
stationed in the Arizona Territory. When his outfit was moved to
Wyoming and when a friend, William Stewart, who had previously .desert=

two deserter's dog bit Hillpot and he kicked the dog but this was soon
