West, Elizabeth; he and August Breyene quarreled with Au-
gust Raes and when the latter knocked the deceased to the
ground the wife interferred; at that time the defendant
Shot her; jug Breyene was convicted of second degree mur~
ders; Breyessee was a French subject with parents living
in Savey; convicted 10-23-1893 and sentenced Dec, 13
