Foster, an Asheville, N. Cy, black, and Johiston, a hative of Flori-
da, with two other menHardy Miller of Asheville and Russ Gates of
Tennessee, plotted to rob a prosperous general store in. Exama., at the
time BREXE a mubooge suburb of Asheville. On the night of Feb, 8,

body. Johnston then shot Alexander, wounding him seriously but the ~
