The case was carried up to the Supreme Court by the priso-
ner's counsel, asking for a new trial, That tribunal hav-
ing refused to grant a new trial, the prisoner was today
re-sentenced to death — the sentence to be executed on the
{th of June proximo, between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM,"
