railroad section gang at Gap, Lancaster Coss Pae On the evening of
August 30, 1906, they went to a-shanty where a number of other
workmen lived with the intention of robbing them. They sat around
outside and talked until the others went inside. to go to bed. They
then entered and drew kn&ves and pistols announcing that they in-
tended robbing the occupants. One of the men, Plato Albanese, ex-
plained that he only had fifty cents and that enraged the thieves,
Delero and Celione took Albanese, upstairs to search for more money
and there a fight broke out in the course of which both Delero and
Celione were wounded and Albanese was cut and shot to dea th, While
this was taking place, Rodelli and Carlui stood guard at the door
and threatened to kill any of the workmen who might attempt to
