IEBEAU, Frederick

"Frederick B, LeBeau hanged on April 2, 1909, for the
murder of William F, and Riley Yoakum, Hanged at Kalispel
Montana. Just prior to execution, he became very ill and
almost broke down, Regained nerve and walked to the
scaffold, He made a statement just before trap fell to
effect he was innocent. Was convicted of mrdering Willia
F, and Riley Yoakum near ipipptpiptptipigigigt Fortune in Flathead
County June 17, 1908, Lebeau killed the Yoakums because
the latter ordered him off their place and refused to sell
him food. At the time, he was accompanied b¥Y a man named
Joe Hobbins who is now serving a life sentence for the
deed,"
