Dear Customer:

Our annual review of your withholding tax account indicates that your average tax liability for the
twelve-month period ending November 1, 2015 has been more than $100 each month. You are now
tequired to file your withholding tax returns on a monthly basis, beginning with the month of January
2016.

You must file all returns and make all payments electronically using eForms, Business iFile, Web
Upload or ACH Credit. For additional information related to electronic filing and payment methods,
visit our website at www.tax.virginia.gov.

If you are unable to file and pay electronically at this time, you may request a temporary waiver. The
waiver form can be downloaded from our website at www.tax.virginia.gov under the Forms tab,
Withholding.

Requirements for a Monthly Filer

e You must file a return online for each month during the calendar year, even if there is no tax
due.

«Returns for all months are due on the 25" day of the following month.
¢ You must electronically file your annual or final summary, Form VA-6 by January 31.
e You must el ically file your W-2 by January 31.

It is important to keep your information current and promptly report all changes to your business as
they occur. You may do this quickly and easily by using VATAX Online Services.

If you employ a payroll service provider, you must provide them with a copy of this information to
ensure successful electronic filing and payment compliance.
