VADP Board Meeting Minutes

Attending: Steve, Matt S., Michael, Matthew E., Meghan, Kent, Helena,
Mary

1. January 21st, 2013 Minutes unanimously approved.

2 Board will decide at March 23 meeting whether and when to have
Matt Sellman move to part-time status. Board will also decide then
on title change for Matt. Current title is Administrative Director.
New titles discussed included Associate Director and Deputy
Director.

3. Lynn Greer appreciation for service to Board 2009-2012 - plaque
and letter from Matthew E. unanimously approved.

4. VADP will send out an email blast highlighting the recent
Washington Post article on Jerry Givens; will include donation pitch.

Dy VADP will send out a letter and email blast in March to inform
members of ’13 General Assembly outcome and to solicit
contributions. This “mini-fundraiser” will have a smaller postal mail
target group to reduce costs.

6. Fundraising and development will be key themes of in-person Board
meeting in Charlottesville, May 23 from 10-3:30 at C’ville Friends
Meeting House.
