Purpose
Provide the annual and long-term financial resources that help the organization abolish Virginia’s death penalty by 2020
Strategy/Tactics
Obtain funds from major and other individual donors, and faith communities. Identify corporate matching-gift opportunities.
Cultivate relationships with high net worth individuals. Apply for foundation grants. Prepare and distribute fund raising materials
for online and mail dissemination. Use social media to discover and solicit potential donors.
Plan and produce events that raise the profile of the organization. Obtain financial support from all VADP directors.
Goal
Raise $71,000 in 2016, surpassing the previous year’s fund raising of $65,246
The following plan details the activities, responsibilities and timelines that provide funds necessary
to fulfill the organization’s mission in our 25th Anniversary Year.
