Dear Connie,

Iam writing about your board service with Virginians for
Alternatives to the Death Penalty (VADP).

You joined the board of directors as of September 1, 2017. Since
then there have been two in-person meetings and three conference
calls. You have not participated in any of these five board meetings.
In addition, you never contacted our Executive Director about your
participation in any of these meetings or conference calls.

It seems clear that you do not have the time to be an active and
contributing member of the VADP board.

As a result, during last night’s conference call the VADP board of
directors invoked a section of our by-laws and voted to remove you
as a board member.

Iam writing to notify you of this action.

Iam sorry that service on the VADP board of directors did not work
out for you.

Best wishes,

Virginia Podboy
VADP Board President
