Project: VADP plans to seek a vote to abolish the death penalty in the 2020 session of the Virginia General
Assembly. VADP and its partners identified legislators who serve on committees that will consider any
death penalty reform or abolition bills. The project goal is to build support from religious, civic, and
business leaders in the districts of these Delegates and Senators for death penalty reform and abolition.
