The bulk of these papers are reports related to statistical analysis of the Nebraska death penalty system in 2001. Further documents include articles related to the law of the death penalty, and professional correspondence between Baldus and his colleagues. The series also includes a report to the state supreme court by Baldus and his colleagues entitled, "The Disposition of Nebraska Capital and Non-Capital Homicide Cases."
