SIP SMOKE SIGNALS
Society of Indian Psychologist January 2018 Monthly Update
Greetings Relatives,
Based upon our survey results we have a great deal to share with you all.

Some basic themes that evolved from the Survey, that over a 1/3 of SIP members participated
in. The area of importance included request for more effective communication, more considered
support of students roand inclusiveness on listserv, convention and on projects.
Some suggestions for change include:
1.
This monthly update. We can send out members announcements, webinar invites,
calls for joint projects, advice, info about the SIP Conference, student requests,
member accolades, storytelling and anything members would like to share.
2.
ZOOM Webinars for a variety of topics of interest to members, CE credits,
mentoring for students and social meetings.
3.
More social meetings at retreat and convention with more engagement of older
members with new first time members and students.
