KCADP Logo Notes, 2009

KCADP Logo
1) The typeface used in the logo is Din Light. When including the full organization name, use the
logo version with the text included rather than retyping the name, whether in Din or other font.
2) The gray version is specifically for printing in grayscale. It will hold up under black and
white photocopying and low-quality printing. When the color version is printed or photocopied in
black and white, it becomes dark and unreadable. Similarly, the grayscale logo does not look as
good on screen or when printed high-quality; it's made specifically for lower-quality scenarios.
In grayscale circumstances, make sure to use the grayscale logo; in color circumstances use the
color logo. For the web, of course, go with color.
3) If possible, do not resize the PNG files. Resize the original Illustrator files and create new
PNGs.
