Hello Libby,

1am writing about a project I am working on regarding the death penalty. I don't know
what you and Prentice think about the issue, but I am hoping you share my opinion that
this is bad public policy and the General Assembly should repeal the law that allows it.

If you do share this point of view, I want to invite you to review the attached documents
and consider becoming contributors to "the next big step" campaign which we are
conducting. Of the $240,000 needed for the next three years, contributors are already
committed to donating $122,000 of it - a bit over half. We hope to hire someone full time
starting September 1, so I am seeking additional contributions.

I would be more than happy to meet with you and talk further about it, should you wish
to do so.

Contributions and pledges can be sent to KCADP, PO BOX 3092, Louisville KY 40201.
Several persons have found it more convenient to pledge using PayPal on our website -
www.kcadp.org. KCADP is a 501c3 organization recognized by the IRS.

So, great if you contribute, but, if you don't or can't, we're still friends.
Pat Delahanty

Chair

KCADP

BTW - all members of our Board are financially invested in this. FYI, my pledge equals
$9,000. So I am not asking people to do what I have not already committed to. Peace.
