Coalition Building
Overview:
Confirmed support from Black Lives Matters Louisville. Awaiting confirmation from M.A.M.A,
Mother's Against Murder Acts and Bosses Not Bangers nonprofits. To gather more support from
Kentucky's conservative sector | have been in communications with Pegasus Institute.
Working with Ky Smart on Crime | have introduced conversations around abolition to each
representative member organization and currently have the open and verbal support of all
member groups, minus Kentucky Coalition Against Domestic Violence. During October's
monthly meeting coalition members were given the link to EJl’s Juries and Race report from Ft.
Pat.
On the national level: Co-Directors are participating in bi-weekly virtual state leader calls to
share updates on local and national abolition work. Currently engaging supporters with state
level groups like 8AP’s FLOCC.

Advocacy/Communications
Overview:
Completed the final data research for murder victims data base. This took a considerable
amount of time, but has now been submitted back to Frank and Stefanie for final approval. First
draft unfinished report can be shared during upcoming meeting.
e Social Media post growth:
Included in CO-Director Russell Allen’s report
Overview: Submitted social media post surrounding the acquittal of Guy Marcus Allen.
The post currently has the highest engagement, with likes and shares following the
announcement of the CO-Directors posts in April. Co-Directors have followed up on
conversations around the engagement of the post and have scheduled a follow up email
to supporters.

Education/Outreach
Education: Invited to continue lecture series with University of Louisville Honors students.
Lecture will be 1 hour and 15 minutes with following dates available : November 16, 18, and/or
30". Last year’s lecture was around Religion and Politics with a hyper focus on broad criminal
justice reform. I have informed the Professors that this year’s lecture will hyper focus on the
Death penalty.
Outreach: Followed up on Ft. Pat's request for engagement in Nemes District, Bullitt Co., which
included a small group of One-on-One’s with Catholic Charities clients. Met with Andre Coleman
of Black Lives Matters in Madison County. Small group discussion on how our missions
intertwine and who we can work together. No major changes in strategy or developments on
this front. Conversation with Deacon Lucio and Ft. Lawrence on how Co-Directors can tap into
Catholic populous in rural Kentucky as well as Clergy that Ft. Lawrence has engaged in the last
year. Was contacted by Kentucky Black Caucus members, not related to lobbying. Members
were interested in ways in which to connect with constituents. Members were informed that
KCADP Co-Directors would be interested in hosting legislative visits for the 2022 session. Co-
Director also attended introductory meeting with Justice & Public Safety Cabinet Sec. Harvey for
Smart on Crime Meeting. Only introductory meeting no lobbying or advocating occurred during
meeting.
