Honorarium you will pay: KCADP, KACDL, KCC are all finalizing this — certainly $1500+ & travel.

Please write a short paragraph about your group and event: —_ Last year Helen was here and an ice/snow
storm developed which led to the cancellation of the event in Lexington KY to raise money for the Coalition. At
that time she said she would return in 2014. So I understand she is available Oct 23 — Oct 26. KCADP would
want to plan a fundraising event on the evening of October 23; then on Oct 24, there would be two events:
luncheon for the KACDL — defense attorneys who support abolition; and in the evening at the KCC Annual
Assembly — pray with about 300 persons of faith and encourage them to get involved with death penalty
abolition work through KCC and KCADP. Oct 25 is not yet planned but we have ideas, including some
meetings with key legislators if they will agree to meet with Helen. And then on Sunday, Oct 26 she will leave.
Depending on the flight time on the 26" we might squeeze in an appearance at a local faith community in the
Louisville area or she might just plain be tired and need some time to reflect. Kentucky has just had a legislative
session during which prolife Republicans sponsored an abolition bill, the first time since 1980 that a Republican
has sponsored such. We would hope to arrange time for the sponsor and as many co-sponsors as possible meet
with Helen. Marian Taylor, Executive Dir. of Kentucky Council of Churches has already submitted this form,
so this is now an expanded version of what we plan to do while Helen is here. Call me if there are any
questions. We are already making plans for this tour by Helen. Pat Delahanty
