Attend meeting in Florida sponsored by Funders Against the Death Penalty extensive report previously
submitted); two meetings of ‘executive committee’ @ KGs to discuss short and intermediate term plans
and projects; work on ads for KFTC program; contact Rev. Joe Phelps @ Highland Baptist Church about
clergy training conference in November; work on Tides Foundation LOI; review and abstract “Struck by
Lightning” report by DPIC; review and provide exhibits for board meeting minutes; meet Kathleen
Lyons, Center for Interfaith Relations; Kentucky Refugee Ministries @ Highland Presbyterian; review
data base of foundation grants in metro Louisville area; plan agenda for ABA work/study group; talk with
ABA staff about projected date of ABA assessment report for Kentucky; meet with Stacy Rector about
how to engage evangelicals.
