Subject: Berea possibility for equipping conference
Hello! I just talked with a leading pastor in Berea, Kent Gilbert of the Union
Church there, and he is willing to help us get a space to use for an equipping
event. A likely spot would be the Society of Friends meeting house next door to
his church. Berea is not too far away from Lexington to draw folks from there,
Richmond and other such points.
In terms of the contacts list of the KCC for promoting this event, we are
strongest in the US Congressional districts that include Louisville and
Lexington.
I'll wait until we know if Berea emerges as a lead candidate and have some dates
to suggest before doing any follow up with Kent
