Volunteering:
A CNADP Tradition
Did you know?
For most of its existence, CNADP has
been run entirely by volunteers!
From 1986 until 2009, a growing group
of passionate volunteers kept
everything running!
A special thank you to our volunteer
founders, many of whom are still
actively involved and contribute
greatly to our collective efforts!
Here are some highlights from past
volunteer achievements:
o The logo, website, and database
are a result of volunteer time and
donations;
© The 2004 state conference, funded
by Amnesty International, gained
national attention;
o Hundreds of people turned out for
a march to death row and the
execution of Michael Ross in 2005;
o Connecticut was selected by Equal
Justice USA as 1 of 5 states to
attended a 2006 conference;
o And by 2009, there were over
2,000 individuals, groups, and
institutions involved in CNADP!

A Special
Volunteer
Thank you!
From September 2010 to August
2011, CNADP volunteers gave
over 900 hours in service.
According to the Corporation for
National and Community Service,
one hour of volunteering is worth
over $21 to the organization
served. Using this figure, the work
accomplished by CNADP
volunteers in the
past year is worth
$18,900!
