This collection contains a corrected first draft of the English translation of Frank and Adler's play, "The Golden Ladder: A Comedy in Eleven Scenes."
Biographical / historical:

Paul Frank and Hans Adler were playwrights. Frank was born on April 14, 1885 in Vienna, Austria-Hungary. Frank was known as a writer and an actor. Notable plays include Adorable (1933) and Three from the Filling Station (1930). Frank died on March 20, 1976 in Los Angeles, California.

Hans Adler was born in 1880 in Vienna, Austria-Hungary. Adler was known for writing poems for the magazine Simlicissimus. Adler was also a known playwright, actor, and novelist and is known for works like Verliebtes Abenteuer (1938) and My Niece Susanne (1950). Adler died in 1957.
