This collection contains documents, photographs, and publications.

Biographical / Historical:

Born in Strasbourg, France in 1912, Gert Laqeuer received a medical degree at the University of Freiburg in 1937 and was a pathologist by training. He served on the faculty at the University of Zurich and Stanford University, and later at the National Institute of Arthritis and Metabolic Diseases, National Institutes of Health. He also served on the Atomic Bomb Casualty Commission, Hiroshima. Laqeuer died in 1986.
