September 25th, 1942

Mr. Karl 0. Paetel,
55 Hanson Place,
Brooklyn, N. ¥.

Dear Mr.Paetel:

There has been a little delay in tying up the
Committee of Foreign Writers with the proper
government agencies. But this has now been
accomplished.

Work is now being organized and we hope to find
ways of utilizing your services and talents for
the war effort. But we would like very much to
know you better so that we can plan the work
with more intelligence.

Next Wednesday afternoon, September 30th, from
2:00 to 5:00 P.M. our committee members will be
in our office, room #802, especially for the pur-
pose of meeting writers. We hope that sometime
during this afternoon may be convenient for you.
Please come in,and talk with us.

Sincerely yours,

COMMITTEE OF FOREIGN’ WRITERS
