Scope and Content:

This collection includes a diary kept by Pierson Dey from 1810-1816, day book entries from 1812-1816, and an account of money expended on a building in 1816. Later entries in the volume record purchases by H.K. Dey in 1864.

Pierson Day was a farmer and rural laborer in Passaic County, New Jersey.
