The collection consits of two docket books for cases handled by John Hurtin as an Orange County sheriff, including lists of jurors and witnesses in cases heard before the Orange County Court of Common Pleas in Goshen, New York, 1811-1821; a register of insolvency cases, 1811-1812; and an account book, 1806-1816.
