Minutes of the ENY/ACRL Business Meeting, May 23, 2011

The business meeting was called to order at 12:43 by Francesca Livermore.

Approval of the May 24, 2010 business meeting minutes.
Francesca Livermore made a motion to approve the minutes of the May 24, 2010 business meeting;
Barbara Grimes seconded. The minutes were approved.

Election
Susan Zappen thanked the membership for voting in the election. She then announced the results of
the election and introduced each new board member.

ENY/ACRL Librarian of the year award

Susan Zappen announced the recipient — Natasha Cooper, Syracuse University, for her considerable
professional achievements including committee work, presentations and publications. Natasha said a
few words about her feelings upon receiving the award.

Call for old business
There was none from the membership.

Call for new business
Francesca explained that the current archivist is retiring and a new one is needed. She then turned the
meeting over to John Cosgrove, incoming president.
