Re: Recognition Opportunity in School of Business Building

I recommend that the Council adopt the following resolution:

WHEREAS, the ARC Group of New Y ork has agreed to provide in-kind software licenses,
academic instruction/training, and technical support with a retail value totaling $563,390.00 in
support of the Digital Forensics program in the School of Business over the next two years; and

WHEREAS the University, in recognition and appreciation of this partnership, wishes to
temporarily name for a period of two years the Digital Forensics Laboratory in the new School of
Business building The ARC Group of New York Incident Response Lab, and

WHEREAS the amount specified for naming comports with previous guidelines recommended
by The University at Albany Foundation and approved by the University Council; now, therefore
be it

RESOLVED, that the Digital Forensics Laboratory in the new School of Business building at
the University at Albany hereafter shall be named, for a period of two years, The ARC Group of
New York Incident Response Lab.
