The minutes of previous meeting were approved as read.

Gommissioner Draper presented a communication from President Milne
concerning appoiniments upon the faculty of the Gollege for the negt year, and
after consideration the following resolutions were adopted?

RESOLVED, That President Milne be authorized io employ Barnard 8. Bronson to
teach chemistry at a salary of $1200 per years Adam Alexander Walker to teach

the Science of Government and Economics at a salary of $1200 per year, and David
Hutchison to teach history at a salary of $1500 per year. Also,

RESOLVET, That he be authorized to employ Miss Mabel A. Bryce and Miss Elizabeth
F., Shaver for work in the practice school, each at a salary of $600 per years adso
that he be authorized to resemploy Miss Toyle, Miss Finney and Miss Phillip for
the ensuing year, each at a salary of $600. Also,

RESOLVET, That the employment of the persons named be for the coming school
year only, and that they be so advised. Also,

RESOLVET, That Mr. H. Birchenough, Mr. C. A. Woodard, Miss Loeb, «Miss Clement
and Miss Cook be each given Eo ncrenes in salary of $100 per year.

On Motion it was resolved that Mr, Finegan be requested on the part
of this committee to take what steps are necessary to secure the repavement of
Washington Avenue at the rear of the new College buildings.

Mr, Finegan offered the followings
RESOLVED that the action of the building committee in authorizing the State
Architect to prepare plans and specifications for iron staircases in the east

and west ends of the main college building in accordance with scheme A and sketch

Ysubmitted to such committee under date of March 2nd, 1908, and that the

btuon of such building committee in authorizing the State Architect to issue
special order to the A. B. Stephens Go. in the sum of $899.60 for the cone
fruction of such staircases and in also authorizing special orders in the sum
{ $110 for installing a ladder to the top of the chimney stack, in the sum of

4.0! for changes in the figtures and circuits in the auditorium and in the

im o' $16.50 for conduit for 1 system to be operated on either side of the

lage, and same is hereby ratified and approved by this board. The
