Affirming contributions to the University Council
Whereas, Bryant Barksdale served as the Graduate Student Representative to the
University Council for the 2014-2015 academic year, and
Whereas, in that position he effectively represented the graduate students of the
University at Albany, thus facilitating the work of the Council in meeting its statu-
tory responsibilities under Section 356 of the New York Education Law, and
Whereas, he offered important insight and counsel to the University Council on a
broad range of issues brought before the body for consideration and action, and
Whereas, he undertook this assignment in a professional and responsible manner,

Besotved, that in recognition of his service as the Graduate Student
Representative, the Council expresses its gratitude for his active participation and
