At the conclusion of the Chair’s Report, Deborah LaFond LaFond, Senator at Large, ULC
Chair: made a motion “to make an agenda item at the next senate meeting to open the floor
for discussion about methods for democratizing the Senate and methods, to ensure
democracy at our senate meetings.
” The motion was seconded by Zina Lawrence.
