University Senate Meeting 9/14/22
UAlbany needs to hold an election for two alternate senators by the end of September
and report results to UFS.
The UFS fall planning meeting was held last week, September 8-9, in Saratoga Springs.
Kabel is on the UFS Operations Committee and attended the meeting.
The UFS Fall Plenary is scheduled for October 20-22 at SUNY Purchase. We want to hear
from SEC, Senate, and others ahead of this meeting. We have an opportunity to meet
with the other University Centers to develop a list of shared concerns/issues/questions
to take the Chancellor. Please start thinking of ideas; we’ll have a form ready to collect
concepts by the next SEC meeting.
