Chair’s Report – C. MacDonald
Letter from the Dean of Undergraduate Studies pertaining to grade changes is being referred
to GAC Committee on Ed Policy and Procedures for consideration.
Autism Certificate Program Proposal (approved by GAC on 5/9/02) is scheduled for Senate
consideration on 9/30/02.
Nanosciences academic proposal is anticipated for GAC consideration during the fall term.
Senate by-laws revisions are still being considered within the ad hoc Executive Committee
sub-group.
5.
Dean’s Report – J. Bartow for J.Mumpower
A symposium on doctoral student retention is being held on campus Friday, 10/4/02. GAC
members are invited and encouraged to attend. Descriptive materials regarding the
symposium will be forward to all members.
