Soliciting of additional nominations from the floor for candidates for incoming Senate vice chair and
secretary
b. Hearing of two-minute speeches from candidates for incoming Senate vice chair and secretary, 
followed by the sending of Qualtrics ballots to qualified voters by email. Votes will be tallied during 
the remainder of the Senate meeting.
c.
Confirmation of two replacement members of the Council on Research
d. Review and vote on full proposal from the School of Public Health for a Master of Science in 
population health nursing, with Q&A (presenting the proposal for SPH: Interim Dean of the School 
of Public Health Mary Gallant; document in Current Meeting Documents [CMD] in Teams)

Review and vote on Governance Council’s bill proposing amendments to Senate Charter Section 
VI.2 establishing rules for the conduct of electronic meetings of the Senate (presenting the bill:

f.
Review and vote on the Governance Council’s draft “Resolution Defending Academic Freedom”
