Report to the University Senate- Wednesday, May 4, 2022
Sydney Faught, GOV Chair 2021-2022
-Organized the elections for Vice Chair and Secretary, which were held at previous Senate meeting of
April 13th.
-Results of at-large elections were distributed (run-off election being organized for second at-large part
time faculty senator)
-GOV conducted review of nominations for the Honors College Governing Board electronically
-Outreach to departments to identify new Senators who will be replacing outgoing senators with
expiring terms has continued
-I will be holding Senate office hours on Tuesdays 4-5pm starting May 17 (other times by appointment)

-Starting to plan for new Senator/Council Chair meeting (likely sometime in August) to go over Senate
procedures, expectations
