March 4, 1981 
At its meeting on February 24, 1981, the Voting Faculty approved a 
resolution requiring the Senate chairman to call a meeting of all faculty 
senators at least once each semester in order to: 
"a. to discuss with and advise the President on matters 
of facuZty concern; and 
"b. to provide facuUy senators with an opportunity to 
identify and discuss issues that shouZd be con-
sidered by the Senate. 11 
In accordance with that resolution, there will be a meeting of 
all faculty senators on Monday, March 23, 1981, at 3:30p.m. in Lecture 
Center 20. 
Agenda items for thismeeting should be sent to me in care of 
the Senate Office (Administration 262 - 457-7547) by Noon, Monday, March 16. 
NOTE: 
One senator has already requested that the topic of university-wide 
distribution requirements be placed on the agenda.
